CLIM command loop and interaction styles

Arthur Lemmens has posted to comp.lang.lisp a short but insightful description of the CLIM command loop and interaction models. Interaction models are also called "command interaction styles" or "interaction styles" in the CLIM literature. The possible styles are:

• keyboard interaction using a command-line processor
• mouse interaction via graphical menus and dialogs
• keyboard interaction using keyboard accelerators
• mouse interaction via presentation translators, i.e. a mechanism for associating command-invoking mouse gestures to displayed objects
