Porting McCLIM to other Lisps and operating systems

Sunday, December 19, 2004

Bruno Haible has posted patches to make McCLIM work with GNU CLISP (see Brian Mastenbrook's summary). The McCLIM developers will give Bruno CVS write access so that he can apply the patches and maintain compatibility with CLISP.

It looks like there is some more interest in porting McCLIM. Tim Daly asked whether there are any efforts to port it to GCL and Windows, which would allow him to rewrite the graphics subsystem of the Axiom computer algebra system in a portable way.
