McCLIM changes: input gestures, miscellaneous fixes

Several changes were committed to McCLIM's CVS repository over the past month and a half or so:

• Andreas Fuchs added arrow keys support to text editing panes
• Andy Hefner added support for left/right scrolling of panes via a mouse wheel
• miscellaneous code cleanups, bug fixes and CLIM compliance fixes by Robert Goldman, Christophe Rhodes, Max-Gerd Retzlaff, Tim Moore and Clemens Fruhwirth
