Clarification on Apress vs O'Reilly

Tuesday, August 24, 2004

Some feedback I have received on yesterday's entry Why I preordered the upcoming Apress Lisp Books requires a clarification. I didn't mean to imply that Lispers shouldn't buy O'Reilly books. I bought interesting O'Reilly books myself, and will continue to do so.

What I actually meant is that Lispers should support authors and publishers who decide to invest in Lisp. And show to the publishing industry, particularly to O'Reilly, that Lisp may be a profitable market niche.

I have also been pointed out an embarrassing typo: the blogging tool I use is called BlogMax, not BlobMax. Apologies to its author, Bill St. Clair.
