There is a current thread in comp.lang.lisp about Lisp-1 vs Lisp-2. Yawn...

After watching countless, similar periodic discussions since the early 1990s, I confess that I now find all this stuff boring to death. I'm personally more interested in using Lisp for solving practical programming problems, but other's mileages might -- and do indeed -- vary.
