In the context of a boring comp.lang.lisp thread, in which someone proposed for the 10000001-th time a Lisp without parentheses, Rainer Joswig posted an interesting list of reasons why Lisp is less compatible with other language and system environments. It is an insightful list of reasons why Lisp has a different world view.
